We recommend that you begin your wedding lessons at least 3 months before your big day. There are many factors that contribute to a fantastic wedding dance, but our wedding specialists can certainly suit your preferences. Your dance is decided upon the rhythm of the music that you choose, your instructor can assist you in determining which dance would be best (Waltz, Rumba, Bolero, 2-Step, Foxy, Foxtrot) or maybe you would like to bend from convention and try a Swing or Tango to wow everyone in the room! It is your choice, and we are here to help you look and feel your best.
The amount of lessons you should take depends entirely about how you want to look and feel for that special first dance. Can you make yourself available at least once a week to take a lesson and or practice? Have you have any dance experience? Are you or your partner shy about dancing in public? Remember, learning to Ballroom or Latin dance is something that you two can use for the rest of your lives together. Learning your special fist wedding dance should be a fun and exciting activity to do together on “date night” with your fiance.
You can learn a Choreographed Routine or Lead & Follow with entrance to the room, dance, dip, and exiting the floor starting at eight 45 minute private lessons on the dance or dances of your choice for $370 total. (That is for the couple.) Additional lessons can be purchased at $75 per private lesson (again for the couple) or save $50 and buy 10 for $700.
Again, we recommend planning to start at least 3 months ahead of the wedding date, which will give you plenty of time to practice, take lessons with mom or dad if you would like them to participate, and just feel comfortable and confident with your first dance.
What your teacher may ask you:
How big is your dance floor?
Where will you be able to enter the floor from?
Where will the guests be seated?
Have you chosen a specific song & can you bring that CD with you?
Can you bring the shoes that you will be wearing / similar?
Can the Bride-To-Be lift her arms in her dress?
Are they any restrictions of movement?
Would you like to look? Sweet, casual, synchronized, formal, like you were just on last season's Dancing With the Stars?
